Paintings
inspired by Depeche Mode. My last exhibition "Inspired by Depeche Mode" continues. After last exhibition, my DM- paintings started
to change from the performing man paintings into more a portrait
like paintings and they started to live their own life. I tried
to find some DM-symbols and interpreted them from my artistic perspective.
For example they, DM, are playing a part in my paintings. Also I
followed my visions I saw freely. When I painted these paintings,
I took advantage from the great masters painting technique by applying
it to my way of painting again.
I think everyone who likes the
band, have their own view, perspective and point of interest that
makes the band, Depeche Mode, unique for them. My paintings reflect
them from my perspective. My paintings also reflects my interest
in them, my devotion and respect for Depeche Mode. They inspire
and move me.
